Events You're Involved In

What this guide covers

What you can see and do after you have accepted participation in an event through Floasis.

Before you start

You need an accepted performer, volunteer, or teaching relationship on an event that is not yet concluded.

This usually follows an accepted application or an accepted organiser invitation.

Steps

1. Open Events I'm involved in

  1. Sign in and go to Events I'm involved in (/portal/involvement).
  2. Browse events where you have active accepted participation.
  3. Open an event to see involvement details.
Concluded events are removed from the active involvement list. Your contribution history remains on your profile after the organiser records it.

2. Event contact and location

After acceptance you can view event coordination contact details the organiser has provided, such as contact name and email.

Private events: Full location details become available through the involvement workflow once your participation is accepted.

3. View the event schedule

If the organiser has built a schedule and enabled participant visibility, you can view published schedule entries for the event.

  • Access the schedule from the involvement page or /portal/schedules/[eventId].
  • Participant schedule views are read-only — you cannot edit entries.
  • Schedule entries may include performances, volunteer slots, breaks, and other entry types defined by the organiser.
If no schedule is visible yet, the organiser may still be building it or has not published it to participants.

4. After the event — contributions

When the organiser concludes the event they record contributions for accepted performers and volunteers.

Confirmed contributions appear in your Profile contribution history.

Teaching contributions are not recorded in contribution history yet — that is planned for a later stage.

What happens next

Continue coordinating with the organiser through the contact details shown.

If you need to withdraw before the event, use the opportunity workflow while withdrawal is still allowed.

Important information

  • Your involvement view shows only events and data you are authorised to see — not other members' private details.
  • Schedule visibility is controlled by the organiser; absence of a schedule does not necessarily mean you are not on the programme.
  • Contribution records are created at event conclusion, or added afterward if the organiser uses the post-conclusion contribution tool.
